Enjoying a sense of comfort, familiarity, and independence at home can prove critical to the well-being of our senior clients. A companion caregiver can provide not only physical assistance to enhance the safety of our clients but also emotional support that provides connection and camaraderie, engaging with the client in meaningful ways. Companion activities include but are not limited to:
Shopping and errand assistance
Reminding about medications
Writing and sending cards, notes, and emails
Facetiming and texting with friends and loved ones
Supporting hobbies and interests, including reading and crafts
Providing company at social events
Preparing light meals and sharing mealtimes
Engaging in conversation and storytelling
Playing games, puzzles, and memory activities
Taking short walks, enjoying time outdoors, and going on outings
Reading books, newspapers, or magazines aloud
Organizing and arranging personal spaces
Accompanying to appointments
Homemaker Services
Seniors with compromised immune systems are more vulnerable to bacteria, dust, mold, and other environmental allergens, which can trigger respiratory or other health issues. An organized, clean, and clutter-free living environment enhances the safety and well-being of our senior clients, including reducing the risk of falls. Homemaker caregivers ease the burden of clients needing to manage home chores alone and make the home feel manageable and enjoyable. Seniors maintain their independence while receiving support.
